Please note that our Keepsakes friends are not designed or intended to be used as toys for young babies or children. Due to their design, they may include small components such as buttons, tags, ribbons, or embellishments that could pose a choking hazard. For this reason, our Keepsake Friends are not IANZ approved and do not meet the safety standards required for children’s toys.

If you choose to allow a child to play with their Keepsake Friend, this is done at your own discretion. The Onesie Bear NZ cannot accept responsibility or liability for misuse, wear and tear, or accidental damage.

Each Keepsake Friend is carefully handmade on an industrial sewing machine. Areas that require strength are double stitched, and safety eyes are used where applicable. However, as all items are hand sewn and finished, components may loosen over time with handling.
Care advise
Cleaning
Our Keepsake Friends are filled with washable polyester stuffing; however, we strongly recommend surface cleaning only using a damp cloth. Machine washing or soaking may cause the filling to lose shape and could alter the appearance of your keepsake.
Drying
If drying is required, please do not use a dryer. Instead, hang your Keepsake Friend in a shaded area and allow it to air dry naturally.
Iron on transfer care
If your Keepsake Friend includes iron-on transfers, extra care should be taken when cleaning. Unlike clothing, these items cannot be turned inside out for protection, so please avoid rubbing or cleaning directly over transferred areas where possible.
